We recently visited this cafe and tried some of their signature dishes, drinks, and desserts. Let’s dive in and discover what this cafe has to offer.

To start, we tried their Pumpkin Soup (RM15). Made with 100% sautéed pumpkin, onion, garlic, and thyme herbs, this soup was rich and flavorful. The best part? It’s made without any preservatives or artificial flavors.  Next, we ordered the Phat Bee Trio Snack (RM21), which came with onion rings, fries, and wedges served with mayonnaise, cheesy sauce, and chili lime. The snack was perfect for sharing and we loved how it came with three different dipping sauces to add some variety to the flavors.

Moving on to the main course, we tried the Quinoa Prawns (RM38) dish was a healthy yet flavorful option. It featured a mix of quinoa, tomato salsa, red onions, fresh coriander leaves, salad, and red radish. The dish was topped with pan-seared prawns and a creamy garlic lemon butter sauce infused with thyme. The flavors in this dish were well-balanced and the addition of quinoa gave it a unique and healthy twist.

Next, we tried the Seafood Marinara (RM29). This dish featured spaghetti in a red sauce with a medley of prawns, black mussels, and squid. The dish was topped with a drizzle of parmesan cheese, which added an extra layer of flavor to the dish. This dish was perfect for seafood lovers and the combination of the different seafood ingredients was just perfect.

The Chicken Parmigiana (RM25) is a special dish from Australia, and Phat Bee Cafe’s version did not disappoint. The dish featured a juicy chicken breast, breaded and topped with tomato sauce, cheese, and fresh herbs. It was served with buttery mashed potatoes and a side salad. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the combination of the tomato sauce and cheese created a delicious and satisfying flavor.

Next, we tried the Grilled Salmon Head with Lemon Butter (RM30). This dish featured a fresh salmon head that was grilled to perfection and served with a lemon butter sauce. The dish was accompanied by mashed potatoes and a side salad. The salmon was incredibly flavorful and the lemon butter sauce added a tangy and zesty flavor that complemented the fish perfectly.

Of course, we can’t forget to mention the drinks we tried at Phat Bee Cafe! We were impressed with their unique and delicious selection.

First up was The Phat Bee “Kori Kohi” (RM15). This was a Japanese-style ice coffee with a twist of Phat Bee’s signature coffee. It was served with warm fresh milk, which added a creamy and rich flavor to the coffee. The Kori Kohi was refreshing and had a well-balanced flavor that we thoroughly enjoyed.

We also had the pleasure of trying Phat Bee Cafe’s signature Hot Cafe Latte (RM11). The presentation was super cute, with three bees on the latte. It was clear that a lot of attention to detail was put into the presentation of this drink. The latte itself was rich and creamy, with a delicious coffee flavor that was perfectly balanced with the milk. Both drinks were impressive and complemented our meal perfectly.

For those who aren’t coffee drinkers, Phat Bee Cafe also offers some delicious non-coffee options. We had the pleasure of trying their Carrot Orange Milk (RM12) and Apple Berries (RM14) drinks, which were both refreshing and full of flavor.

The Carrot Orange Milk was a unique blend of fresh carrot juice, orange juice, and milk. It was surprisingly delicious, with a slightly sweet and creamy taste that was balanced out by the tangy citrus flavors of the orange juice. We loved how the flavors complemented each other so well and how the drink was both refreshing and satisfying.

The Apple Berries drink, on the other hand, was a fruity and refreshing concoction made with fresh apple juice & berries. It was the perfect drink to cool down with on a hot day. The blend of sweet and tangy flavors made for a delicious and refreshing drink that we highly recommend.

We couldn’t agree more! Another must-try drink at Phat Bee Cafe is their Blueberry Milkshake. Made with fresh blueberries and creamy vanilla ice cream, this milkshake is a delicious treat that’s perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

No meal is complete without dessert! And at Phat Bee Cafe, the desserts are just as delicious as the main courses and drinks. We had the pleasure of trying two of their signature desserts – the Biscoffle (RM20) and Bee in the Forest (RM21).

The Biscoffle is a must-try for anyone who loves waffles and Lotus Biscoff cookies. The Phat Bee Waffle is topped with Biscoff spread and Biscoff crumbs, and served with a side of Biscoff crumbs, ice cream, and Lotus Biscoff biscuits. The combination of the warm, fluffy waffle with the sweet, crunchy Biscoff crumbs and spread was simply heavenly.

The Bee in the Forest is another specialty dessert that you won’t want to miss. This dessert features vanilla cheese ice cream, peanut butter Oreo, Biscoff chocolate with honey, digestive Biscoff crumbs, and a bee hive made out of chocolate. It was a decadent and rich dessert that satisfied our sweet tooth and left us feeling completely satisfied.

In conclusion, Phat Bee Cafe is a must-visit for anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy some delicious food and drinks. The cafe’s plant-themed decor and greenery create a peaceful environment that is perfect for enjoying a meal or catching up with friends.

Their service is friendly and welcoming, and the overall experience at Phat Bee Cafe is truly delightful. So if you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and give this Batu Kawan cafe a try!
