Have you been craving some good food in a unique and memorable setting? Look no further than Color Port Penang, the latest food corner and quick serve bar on the sea located at Pengkalan Weld, Georgetown.
This place is massive, with so many food containers of different colors that it’s impossible to choose just one. And to top it off, they even have a basketball and football court! This is the perfect spot to come with friends and family for a fun day out and delicious food.
At Color Port Penang, you can enjoy your favorite dining moment on the breezy Sea Deck while taking in the picturesque view of the sea. And the best part? You get to indulge in both local delicacies and western food at the most historical spot in Penang. It’s a culinary adventure like no other, and you won’t be disappointed.
With five cafes to choose from, you’ll be spoiled for choice. Nelayanku Ekspress offers finger food and drinks, perfect for a quick snack while enjoying the sea breeze. We tried their signature “Fisherman Nasi Lemak (RM19.90)“, which comes with fresh seabass (siakap), sambal, fried egg, and ikan bilis. And let me tell you, it was mouth-watering! We also ordered Passion Fruit Soda and Ribena Soda to wash it down, which were both refreshing and perfect for the hot weather.
If you’re in the mood for some western food, check out Captain Light Western Signature. Their Chicken Chop (Thai Style) was crispy and the sauce was super delicious. They also offer Fish & Chips, Hotdog Special, and Burgers, so there’s something for everyone.
And of course, you can’t visit Penang without trying their famous Char Kway Teow. At Newborn Penang Famous Assam Laksa & Char Kway Teow, we tried the Supreme Char Kway Teow Special, which was topped with a sunny-side-up fried egg and fried mantis prawn. It was super delicious and definitely hit the spot.
Italian food lovers will also find something to satisfy their cravings at Italian Oregano’s Spaghetti & Pizza. They offer grill, pizza, pasta, tortilla wrap, don, and more. We ordered Chicken Bacon Carbonara Pasta (RM18.90), which was creamy and had the perfect amount of bacon. It was so good that we almost ordered a second plate!
And last but not least, we stopped by Goal Diggers 1880 Cafe, which serves different kinds of drinks like coffee, tea, fresh fruit juice, cendol, ais kacang, and soft drinks. We ordered TCM Flavor Black Coffee – Rose Jaggery (RM9), and it tasted amazing with a hint of rose. It was the perfect end to our food adventure at Color Port Penang.
Color Port Penang is not just a food corner, it’s a complete experience that you wouldn’t want to miss! The place is super big and has both indoor and outdoor seating areas, all with a stunning sea view. As you walk in, you’ll feel the historical vibes that surround this place, making it even more special.
What’s more, Color Port Penang is not only suitable for casual dining but also for hosting events! From corporate events to birthday parties or weddings, this place has got you covered with its ample space and stunning location. On the day we visited, they were having a Zumba Session with 200 pax over there, and the energy was just contagious!
Before the Zumba session, Color Port Penang also recently hosted a Hari Raya Celebration Dinner. The venue was decorated with colorful lights and traditional Malay decorations, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all attendees.
In fact, if you’re interested in hosting an event at Color Port Penang, you can contact them via WhatsApp or phone call. Just reach out to Mr. Wong at 013-9272628 or Rahul at 017-6832628, and they will be happy to assist you with any inquiries or bookings.
Oh, and we almost forgot to mention one more exciting feature of Color Port Penang – they are equipped with Malaysia’s biggest sea deck LED screen! You can catch your favorite sports games, concerts, and other entertainment events while enjoying your meal and soaking in the sea view.
But that’s not all – we heard insider news that Color Port Penang will soon be launching mini-games on their sea deck! Imagine playing mini-golf or ping pong while enjoying the cool sea breeze and stunning views – sounds like the perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon with friends or family.
