When you come to Malaysia, many will recommend to you the overwhelmingly long list of a wide variety of food that is available here, be it on the side of streets or inside beautifully furnished restaurants.
‘Cendol Penang’ is definitely on that list. A typically large bowl of shaved ice, drenched in coconut milk, drizzled in thick and dark palm sugar, and most importantly the droplets of rice-flour jelly with a green tinge from the pandan leaf.
